Goang Chyan offers a range of precision gears designed for various industrial applications. our bevel gears (spur and spiral) are known for high transmission efficiency, stability, and low noise, making them ideal for high-power transmissions in machine tools, marine equipment, and energy systems. Spur gears, with our simple design and easy manufacturability, are widely used in automobile transmissions and machinery due to our straightforward assembly and reliability.

Helical gears provide smoother transmission with reduced vibration and noise, making them suitable for high-speed, high-load applications like inspection instruments and cranes. Internal gears, or ring gears, are typically paired with spur gears to form space-efficient planetary gear sets, commonly used in automotive clutches, robotic arms, and gear reducers. These products reflect Goang Chyan’s focus on delivering durable and efficient gear solutions for diverse industries.

Bevel Gears

Bevel gears have two types: spur bevel gears and spiral bevel gears. Bevel gears have high transmission efficiency and stability while creating low noise. Compared with spur gears, bevel gears have better mesh. Bevel gears have higher load capacity and are suitable for high-power transmission. Some applications of bevel gears include various machine tools, marine transmissions, and energy equipment.

Spur Gears

Spur gears are parallel axis gears. The advantages of spur gears are easy manufacturing, simple geometry, and low sensitivity to center distance tolerance for assembly. As a result, spur gears are widely used in transmission systems such as automobile transmission systems, machinery, and gear reducers.

Helical Gears

Compared with spur gears, helical gears have a better and smoother mesh ratio. These gears provide smoother transmission, lower impact, less vibration, and low noise while allowing higher load capacity. They are ideal for machines and applications requiring higher operation speed and load. Helical racks also have the advantage of lower noise and higher load factor. The helical gear/rack combination is often used in inspection instruments, machine tools, cranes, and cutting machines.

Internal Gears

Internal gears, also known as ring gears, are primarily used in pairs with spur gears to form a planetary gear set or as the basis for quadrant and angular gears. The advantage of using an internal gear meshed with an external gear such as a spur gear is that the center distance can be shortened; therefore, less space is required. The planetary gear set combining the internal and external/spur gears can be used in applications where space is limited, such as gear couplings and clutches for automobiles. Other applications of planetary gear sets include robotic arms and planetary gear reducers.

Hourglass Worms and Worm Wheels

A worm gear and a worm wheel together form a worm gear transmission system with the advantages of stable operation and a larger gear reduction ratio. Worm and worm wheel gears can be divided into two types. One is cylindrical worm drives and worm gears for speed reducers, and the other is hourglass worms and worm wheels for agricultural equipment steering racks. Other applications include rotary tables for machine tools, lifting mechanisms, and elevator speed reducers.
